There is more and more science news about
Russia in the world:
"Russian IT specialists showed the
highest level of programming skills at the international Student Olympiad
..."

These numerous facts make you think about
getting a higher education in Russia. Is it possible for a regular student from
Morocco, Egypt, Gabon, South Africa, India, USA or Brazil?
What awaits international students in the
vastness of the largest country on our planet?
And what opportunities does a higher
education diploma obtained in one of the TOP-5 educational powers in the world
offers them? More than 353,000 foreign citizens from 200 countries of the world
are already studying in Russia!
We conducted an extensive survey and, based on
the responses received, we compiled a detailed overview of Russia as seen by
foreign students. Higher education in Russia means affordability and high
quality, that is why the country ranks 1st in the world in terms of literacy
and the number of people with higher education among the adult population.
Students can choose from more than 1200
programs in Medicine, Engineering, Economics or Humanities in three languages
(Russian, English and French). Russian is one of the six official languages of

GEOGRAPHY OF RUSSIA
Russia is:
- 147 million people, 200 nationalities;
- 230 languages and dialects;
- 11 time zones and 16 climate zones;
- 12 seas washing the borders;

Russia’s
nature is unique: rivers, lakes, steppes, forests, waterfalls, volcanoes!
Elbrus, the highest mountain in Europe; the Baikal, the deepest lake in the
world; the Caspian, the largest lake in the world, are all situated in Russia.
RUSSIAN MINDSET
In Moscow and the Caucasus, in Yekaterinburg
and Kaliningrad, Russia always warmheartedly welcomes guests from any country
of the world.
The
size of the country has influenced the national character: people are very
familiar with the concept of multinational family and friendship.
The "generous Russian soul", a
defining characteristic of all Russian people, is expressed with benevolence,
openness, sincerity, generosity and willingness to help.
There is an opinion that Russians are harsh
and never smile. This is not quite true. In Russia, fake smiles, which are
common in many countries of America and Europe, are considered bad manners and
have not really gotten into a habit. In Russia, it is customary to smile from
the bottom of your heart and soul.

Without
Russian scientists, the emergence of the Internet, telephone communication,
radio, periodic table of chemical elements, television, color photography,
solar panels, light bulbs, gasoline engine and many other achievements of
civilization would be impossible.
Modern Russia conducts advanced developments
in various industries of production and technology. There have been many
